Newsroom or search engine?

Guy calls the city desk @ 8:54 this morning.

I answer.

Me: "Newsroom."

Him: "So -- this isn't anything about the newspaper -- I got in an argument with a guy and I was thinking of all people, you all could help."

Me: "OK"

Him: "So there was a heavyweight champion, recently, a guy from Britain..."

Me: "Lennox Lewis."

Him: "Yes! Yes! That's the guy. Thanks!"

Click.

Being an editor (let alone a part of something that sends out information daily to tons of people) means that you would be an accessible human encyclopedia? Just like I am suppose to diagnose (with the DSM IV-R that is in my head) every time someone ask me, "What does that mean?" Hope it made you laugh a little when he called! Love ya!
